Nourish

Nourish - Parmesan Stuffed Figs Refreshment is one of the simplest pleasures in life and we eat everyday. I love food that pops with flavor, and I am mindful as I eat to save all the best tidbits on the plate for what I lovingly refer to as “the last bite”. This bite is the cumulating moment of the entire eating experience, where the best flavors are compacted into one amazing bite. I gently scoop it all together, close my eyes and then taste, letting my taste buds rejoice!

The recipes you find here are inspired by “the last bite”, my goal is to infuse each bite with that vibrant profile. I will often give ideas for “upping the YUM” even more, with simple tips for taking your food from delicious to extraordinary.

These recipes are for everyone and can be modified for most diets and eating styles. Recipes include whole foods, are naturally gluten free and display the best of what Mother Nature offers to nourish us every single day- fresh, seasonal, natural, organic, humanely raised and artisan products.

Get ready to infuse your food with YUM!

How and Why to Make a Cleansing and Energizing Salt Scrub

March 4, 2015 By Jenn Campus 3 Comments

This is a wonderful little scrub to have in your toolkit. It is easy to make and multi-purposed: great cleanser and toner for your skin, and energizing and cleansing for your aura and energy field. I even use them to scrub my chakras. Using a salt scrub is a simple self-care ritual that doesn’t take much time, but the benefits of adding it in are multi-fold. Salt is well known for its healing ...

February 25, 2015 By Jenn Campus Leave a Comment

I love vibrant dishes that are not only eye-catching but also flavor-popping, those two elements engage all the pleasure centers and make whatever you are eating taste amazing! These kinds of meals are easy to create in the summer and in warmer climates when the earth is able to offer an immense bounty, but don’t forget that winter also offers its own beauty, which is why I have and will continue ...

Beet Salad

Vibrant Beet & Chèvre Salad with Cranberry Balsamic Reduction

February 13, 2015 By Jenn Campus 7 Comments

The power of RED. It is vibrant, beautiful and throughly grounding. This is the color associated with Valentine's day - hearts are red and the heart is the symbol of love. But really red is the color associated with the 1st chakra referred to as the root chakra and not the heart chakra, the color associated with which is actually green! Chakras will be discussed regularly on this blog. They are ...

Spicy Chaga Chai Tea

February 1, 2015 By Jenn Campus 9 Comments

I really love the spicy exotic flavors of chai tea. There is something so soothing and yet at the same time, so vibrationally uplifting about it. I can feel the warmth of the herbs radiating throughout my body. It feels good, yummy. This recipe is a way to UP THE YUM of traditional Chai Tea, which is already so good, by adding Chaga, a mushroom that grows on birch trees. Chaga is very powerful ...

Warming Curry Chickpea Soup

January 19, 2015 By Admin 1 Comment

This filling and wholesome soup has become a staple for us this winter. It is made easy by using a crockpot, letting it do the work for you, and feeds this family of 4 twice, which is a good deal. Plus, this is one of those soups that gets better with age (I have yet to meet a soup that doesn’t!). My best friend, Liz sent me a canister of Teeny Tiny Spice Co. of Vermont Organic British Curry ...
