The Yum Queen - Infuse your life with more YUM!

The Yum Queen – Infuse your life with more YUM!

Welcome to my new blog! I am really excited to be here and I hope that after you read some of my posts, you will keep coming back for more.

If you are here because you loved The Leftover Queen, my now retired food blog that I have written for the past 7 years, welcome to my new space, you will still find lots of yummy food recipes that are focused on quality, close to the earth ingredients and yet you will find the dishes to be a bit more vibrant, in color and flavor. To learn more about that, check out the NOURISH page.

For the past few years, I have wanted to expand my writing into other areas I am passionate about, especially holistic health, spirituality, homesteading and travel. I have wanted to write about tips and things I have learned to be helpful to new moms, as a new mom. However, I didn’t really feel that these topics would really work on The Leftover Queen.

Some of you that know me also know I am a bit of a Kitchen Witch…ok, actually A LOT! And so I wanted to start focusing a lot of my food writing in this direction – sharing how I use herbs and seasonings in a meaningful way, how to stir the pot with intention, and make herbal remedies for the whole family.

So I hope you will enjoy these new areas of focus and see how they all tie in together as a holistic way of living life! So please explore these pages, especially the NOURISH, LIVE and DREAM pages to get an idea and feel for the new blog, how it all fits together and get ready for a whole lot more! xo

It’ s been a while since I’ve clicked on you, but I’m glad I did. Good luck in your new adventure. I’ll be subscribing. I can’t wait to read more about herbs. I’m planning on expanding my herb garden this Spring. I have all my boxes ready to go.
